7 Nutrition Mission In Closing

Description

Some Notes:

-Remember VARIETY is the key. Do not eat the same fruits or vegetables every day. Doing so only ensures
that the nutrients found in those foods will be entering your body, so you will be missing out on other
important nutrients found in other foods. Mix it up. If you eat an apple today, eat a banana tomorrow.

-QUALITY is also the key. It doesn’t do you any good to buy the store’s bread, yogurt, or cheese, etc.
because it will have too much sugar or other unhealthy things in it. See if you can find a specialty shop, or
some place where you can trust the person who is making what you eat and the ingredients that they are
putting in it. Another alternative is to make it yourself - especially bread, since it is very easy to make.

-I recommend cooking from scratch because that is the only way you can know for sure that what you are
eating is healthy and not filled with whatever it is companies choose to add to their foods.

-Always remember to eat whole, natural foods. Stuff coming out from a box or baggie should rarely be
passing those lips. Likewise, do not eat white breads, grains, or pastas. They have been processed to the point
that they have no nutrients left in them and will significantly contribute to obesity.

-Don’t overcook! Important nutrients are lost the longer you cook your veggies and foods.

-Don’t cook with oil, because oil is unstable and produces harmful free radicals when heated.

-A person with diabetes should avoid eating too many grains and fruits, because regular consumption of
these foods will increase your blood sugar level and be bad for you. If you have diabetes you should adjust
your daily and weekly servings accordingly.

-Don’t drink soda. I can’t stress it enough. Don’t drink it. Don’t consume it. Don’t pop the cap open. It is one
of the worst things that you could be putting into your body, for what I hope are obvious reasons. Chips,
french fries, donuts, and other fried foods should also be avoided like the plague.

-Be a hobbit! Eat several small meals throughout the day so that you are never super full and never super
hungry.

In Closing:

Just remember, you get out of life what you put in. If you try very hard, no matter how busy or difficult you
are, chances are you will succeed. If you never try or make time, you have already failed. Don’t worry if it
takes you time to change your lifestyle. Just change what you can in increments, and before you know it, you
will have accomplished more than you thought possible <Speaking from personal experience> Also if there
are any other graphics that you would like me to create for you, just leave me a note, and I will get right on it.

Cheers and Best of Luck,
