The Fishermen

There are many things I can say about this picture. The long dock in the background is where many Taiwanese people were fishing. However, it is illegal to do so and the area is sectioned off with a gate and a sign telling people not to go in. This is because sometimes big waves come and knock people off the dock. Well, the fishermen apparently didn't like this, so they built some stairs and just climb around the fence whenever they want to go fishing there.

My friend and I decided to walk to the end of it. On the way two older fisherman passed us and made a comment about me in Taiwanese. My friend is Taiwanese so she was able to translate it for me. The comment was both kind of scary and funny. Basically one of the guys had this to say about me: Her skin is very white, so we can sell her and make lots of money...
